SPACE TECHNOLOGY: INDIA SHINES AGAIN

India has again written the history in the space science when on Monday (Apr-28), ISRO launched the PSLV-C9 in the space carrying a cluster of 10 satellites, two of India and eight from other nations in a single mission and successfully placed all satellites in its destination orbit.
It was the first time in history when any organization have placed 10 satellites in a single mission and carrying a weight of 820kg, though Russia which had put 13 satellites into orbit but only carrying a weight of 295 kg.
A proud ISRO chairman G Madhvan Nair declared the mission successful and said there was “not even a slight deviation in the space craft’s trajectory and the satellites were delivered at their doorsteps”.

Terrorism in INDIA

Attainments of objectives by terrorizing the people and the government of a country or a state is called terrorism
. In modern times, terrorism has assumed global proportions. And the ugly face of terrorism can be seen in India quite remarkably. Unfortunately, our country has to cope with national and the international terrorism simultaneously.
Kashmir is the bone of contention between India and Pakistan. A number of terrorist outfits like JAISH-A-MOHAMMED, LASHKAR-E-TIOBA AND HIZBUL-MUZAHIDDIN are operating from POK( Occupied Kashmir) . These terrorist organizations are well supported by Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI. They get all the arm and ammunition. Some unemployed youths of POK are lured or forced into the terrorism. These youths are completely brain washed and motivated to die in the name of JIHAD. On an average India faces major terrorist attack after every three months. Innocent peoples are killed in these terrorist attacks. A number of women become widows and children become orphans. We seem to be sitting helpless ands waiting for the next terrorist attack. In the recent years, these terrorist have attacked some religious places. It simple shows that these terrorist have neither any creed nor any breed.
Majors taken by the Indian Government to cope with the terrorism seem to be ineffective at large. Now, the time has come our government has to take some stringent steps to cope with this heinous crime. Government should strengthen our intelligence and educate people how to handle an extreme situation. People should also corporate with the police and other intelligence agencies to fight against the terrorism. At the same time, government should make some diplomatic moves to convince the world community to pressurize Pakistan to curb the terrorist activities in India.
Conclusion
Terrorism no doubt, is the most heinous crime against humanity. It is ironical that the terrorist who indulge themselves in these gruesome crimes considered themselves freedom fighters or the Jihadi’s. People should co-operate with the government and government should take every possible step to curb the terrorist activities. But the things aren’t likely to change unless all the countries of the world resolve to eradicate terrorism from the globe.
